The Body
Any forensic investigator knows, that there is always a huge amount of
potential evidence on the body of any murder victim, ranging from fibers left on the victim from the murder, to blood from the murderer due to the
victim fighting back. During the OJ Simpson case however; the body became
completely inadmissible as evidence when the Forensic examiners took
a blanket from within the crime scene, where OJ had often visited, and draped a
blanket over her, in an attempt to hide her body from the press. When realizing his mistake, the forensic examiner left he stalls within the court and shook
hands with the defense team, an act that severely hindered the
prosecutions arguments.
There was so much evidence against OJ that it can safely be said that
the police were justified to suspect OJ Simpson, which is why it is so
surprising to this day that he was acquitted.
Later on that year, a civil court mandated that OJ was legally
responsible for the deaths of Nicole and Ron, therefore showing that they were
clearly justified to suspect him.
